My Grandmother’s Kitchen Class

This month the kitchen at the Women’s Centre will host the third and final class in a series exploring Vegan, Raw and Local food trends. The focus of this class will be LOCAL food with the goal of a menu sourced completely from the Columbia Basin.
Food will be farmed, foraged or found within 100 miles of us. Kombucha bread and local cheese? Salad from baby greens? Winter root vegetable soup perhaps?
We will see what is available!
Local Food experts and a farmer or two will join us to share recipes and speak to the importance of choosing locally grown food whenever possible.
As always we will learn, cook and then get to eat together.
